2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the app and use its features.
Personal Data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. This is handled securely via Firebase Authentication.
User-Generated Content: To provide the core functionality of property inventory and inspections, we collect text data (property details, condition descriptions) and images (photos of the property) that you input into the app.
3. Device Permissions and Access
To function correctly, Calli requires the following permissions on your device:
Camera Access: We require camera access to allow you to take photos of property conditions directly within the app.
Storage/Files Access: We require local storage access to generate, save, and retrieve the PDF inventory reports directly on your device (Offline-First functionality).
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect primarily to provide, maintain, and improve the Calli application. Specifically, we use your data to:
Create and manage your account.
Generate customized PDF property reports.
Synchronize your offline data with our secure cloud servers when a network connection is available.
Ensure Access Control Lists (ACL) so that only authorized users can view specific property data.
5. Data Storage and Security
Calli utilizes an "Offline-First" architecture.
Local Storage: Your data and generated PDFs are initially stored securely on your device's local cache.
Cloud Synchronization: When connected to the internet, your data is synchronized to our backend database hosted by Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage). Firebase employs industry-standard security protocols and encryption to protect your data.
